Apathy   Leave a comment

Apathy (50):

A state of helplessnessdespair, and despondency. Someone here is needy and dependent on others for help, such as the homeless and poor. Because this level feels “heavy” and is seen as a burden, many people usually avoid those vibrating at these levels. For example, in some countries we see how the poor and less fortunate are segmented away from the mainstream society. We also frequently see situations where the aged is abandoned by their own kin because they are seen as liability. This level is associated with abdication, which means to give up one’s power to others. The life view here is hopelessness.

It is lack of interest, enthusiasm, or concern and an absence of outrage against injustice.  It is a feeling lazy, depressed, or useless. Apathy goes to the root of our moral and spiritual crisis. It is the erosion of ability to commit oneself to important causes, to care deeply about other people, and to take risks in the struggle against every form of human bondage. Presumably, apathy is the greatest danger to truly representative political systems; without the vote, with blind choice, or with one choice, the representative character of democracy is lost. The death of democracy is not likely to be an assassination from ambush. It will be a slow extinction from apathy, indifference, and undernourishment. The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don’t do anything about it. The price of apathy towards public affairs is to be ruled by evil men. Apathy is the direct opposite of energy. Thoughtlessness or apathy is the only obstacle to success. Apathy is the outgrowth of their inability to change the world. The greatest danger to our future is apathy. There can be no transforming of darkness into light and of apathy into movement without emotion. The cure for apathy is compassion. Apathy is an acceptance of unacceptable. This mental state is okay to feel apathetic. Even though every pencil has an eraser, but trust and faith are like an eraser, it gets smaller and smaller after every mistakes. You’ll end up real disappointed if you think people will do for you as you do for them, not everyone has the same good heart as you; it’s good to expect, but if not fulfilled, stay cool. Man sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived. Sometimes, you just have to die a little inside in order to be reborn, restore self and rise again as stronger and wiser version of you. I like the dreams of the future better than the history of the past. Get out of your head and get into your heart; think less, feel more. When we practice loving, kindness, forgiveness and compassion, we are the first ones to profit in finding peace and happiness in the uncertain ocean of life. Kindness is free to give but priceless to receive.
